Marlene Stockamp-Tsai is the founder and CEO of Aavita, where she guides the company’s product vision, operations, and growth strategy. Her motivation comes from both personal experience with an eating disorder and witnessing the struggles of people close to her, which gave her a deep understanding of the need for compassionate, stigma-free recovery tools.

Passionate about mental health advocacy, Marlene is dedicated to building technology that feels intuitive, supportive, and accessible to anyone on their recovery journey. At Aavita, she combines this mission with innovative AI solutions, shaping a platform that empowers users while reimagining how recovery support can look and feel.

Dina Said Dwyer

Strategic Advisor

Lisa Maltby

Clinical Advisor

Lisa Maltby is an experienced Integrative and Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with over 20 years of practice supporting adolescents, young adults, and families through trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. Her work has a strong focus on eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and disordered eating, helping individuals rebuild healthier relationships with food, body, and self in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

At Aavita, Lisa ensures that the therapeutic content and recovery pathways are grounded in best practices and evidence-based approaches. Her trauma-informed, person-centered perspective is central to creating a platform that feels compassionate, inclusive, and clinically sound. Lisa’s role bridges professional care and innovative technology, ensuring that Aavita delivers recovery tools that are both emotionally safe and practically effective.
